A Mississippi Air Force base has been placed on lockdown amid reports of an active shooter.
Keesler Air Force Base issued an alert stating it is in ‘lockdown mode’ at around 8am ET on Wednesday.
The military base was due to conduct a readiness drill today, but the incident is not connected to the plans, WLOX reports.
