Canada not following lead of U.S., others, in requiring COVID tests for travellers from China

OTTAWA — As the United States and other nations impose new mandatory COVID-19 testing rules on travellers of flights originating in China, Canada is choosing instead to watch and wait.

Now with China preparing to reopen its borders early in the new year, officials around the world are concerned floods of potentially infected travellers could soon be disembarking at their airports.
