Comcast, an American telecommunications conglomerate, is back online in the US, following at three-hour outage that left tens of thousands of customers without internet, phone or television service.
More than half of the reports posted on DownDetector, a site that monitors online outages, noted a total blackout, while the rest were unable to use landline internet or email.
The crash appeared to have started around 8:12am ET and is hitting costumers along the West Coast and Midwest and some reports are surfacing on the East Coast.
