Elon Musk cashes in on meteoric rally in Tesla stocks

Tesla’s billionaire CEO Elon Musk sold another chunk of Tesla shares, ramping up a combined value of the offloaded stocks to nearly $7 billion, taking advantage of a rally that boosted the company’s value to more than $1 trillion.

Musk sold 1.2 million shares held by his trust for more than $1.2 billion on Friday, the latest in a series of his stock transactions this week, according to new filings with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
