The tech maverick has been speaking about the importance of space colonisation for years. Initially, his company SpaceX planned to send humans to the red planet in 2024, but recently delayed the project, saying it will likely occur before 2030.
Elon Musk, who wants humanity to colonise the red planet, believes the Earth is facing population collapse. The father of six made the statement on Twitter while responding to a post by a Tesla fan club, which lauded Musk’s attempts to stave off population decline.
