Fungal diseases such as Mucormycosis, Candidiasis, Aspergillosis (widely known as Black, White & Yellow Fungus) are non-contagious infections that happen when we inhale/come in contact with the fungal spores. While these fungi are widespread in the environment, human infection is occasionally seen in medical practice, usually occurring in patients with underlying conditions and predisposing factors such as diabetes mellitus, rampant misuse/overuse of steroids, malignancies, organ transplantation, etc.
