Gavin Newsom’s bombshell affair decades ago came back to haunt him on Tuesday as his former mistress described their fling in explosive detail — including their steamy hot tub session and the ex-aide’s confession to her husband that it was just about sex.
Ruby Rippey, a former City Hall aide to the then-San Francisco mayor, relived the scandalous tryst in an unsparing tell-all to Vanity Fair published Tuesday.
