THE WORLD’S longest road tunnel leaves drivers without a glimpse of daylight for around 20 minutes as they pass beneath the mountains on a key route between two major cities.
Norway’s Lærdal Tunnel is dubbed the longest of its kind in the world, measuring 15.2 miles between Lærdal and Aurland, forming part of an important route linking Oslo and Bergen.
