Man dies in Moscow Metro while saving person who jumped in front of train

A man died in a Moscow Metro station on Saturday during an apparent attempt to rescue another man who’d jumped in front of a train. The latter survived the incident but fled the scene and is currently wanted by the police.

The tragedy occurred at Skhodnenskaya Station in the northwestern part of the Russian capital. A video recorded by the CCTV camera showed a man suddenly rushing towards the edge of the platform in an apparent attempt to jump in front of an arriving train.
