A large fire that broke out at the Martinez Refining Company on Saturday is ‘trending down,’ according to officials. A shelter-in-place order that was issued earlier for Martinez, part of Pacheco, and Clyde was lifted as of 9:12 p.m., according to Contra Costa County officials.
Contra Costa Fire was handling the incident earlier, but as of about 8:52 p.m., they said they were transitioning the incident back to Martinez Refining Company.
