The multimillionaire inventor of Invisalign stepped down last night after a female employee accused him of grooming her and beating her during sex, leaving her with cuts, bruises and symptoms of a concussion.
Former employee Tatiana Spottiswoode, 28, testified before a House Judiciary Committee panel in Washington D.C. on Thursday to end forced arbitration that Zia Chishti, 50 effectively groomed her when she was 21 and then pressured her into sex and assaulted her.
She gave evidence about the alleged attack to the House Judiciary Committee and submitted photographs of her injuries.
