Mutant ‘super pigs’ born in the radioactive ruins of Japan’s Fukushima have developed startling new abilities, scientists have revealed.
The Fukushima disaster was triggered by a massive 9.0-magnitude earthquake that devastated northeastern Japan and shifted parts of Honshu, the country’s main island, several feet eastward
The mutant pigs were created after domestic pigs escaped into abandoned farmland following the 2011 nuclear disaster and began breeding with wild boar roaming the exclusion zone.
