In President Donald Trump’s war to silence any criticism in the media, he has a ready and willing attack dog: Brendan Carr.
Trump’s Federal Communications Commission chairman has ordered investigations into public broadcasters PBS and NPR as well as commercial giants CBS, NBC and ABC, all of them favorite punching bags of the president, accusing them of bias in their news coverage. Carr says he is simply trying to hold media companies accountable but, unsurprisingly, the one major broadcasting outlet he has not criticized and is not investigating is the conservative cable news company, Fox News.
