Zelensky signs law on forced evacuation of children: when parents can be deprived of their rights

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy march 2 signed law No. 4779-IX on mandatory evacuation of the population. In particular, the document allows children to be forcibly evacuated from the areas of active hostilities even if their parents are against it.

Mandatory evacuation can be either general or partial – for certain categories of the population. In particular, children, people with disabilities, the elderly and others.
