A hero English holidaymaker has spoken of his terror after waking up on his sunbed to find a man pulling a machete from his trousers and going on a bloody rampage on a Moroccan beach.
Shaun Lewin says the maniac “just started knifing people” including two Brits in the resort of Agadir on Thursday afternoon as dozens fled the sand screaming. The 45-year-old from Rotherham, South Yorkshire, praised quick-thinking beach staff who chased the suspect into the ocean. The knifeman attempted to dodge arrest by swimming away before being captured and taken into custody.
