The site of Burning Man is facing a potential washout due to Tropical Storm Hilary, which has caused a significant downpour in Nevada just one week before the iconic desert art festival is set to begin.
Organizers are trying to figure out the next steps for the event as Black Rock Desert in northern Nevada flooded and roads leading into the pop-up city were closed.
Around 80,000 people are expected to attend the open-air event this year, which focused on community, art, self-expression, and self-reliance.
