FLINT, MI — Flint police have searched for the source of it and come up empty.
East side residents say they’ve heard and felt it for years.
Now the city is asking the state and federal government for its help in identifying what’s causing seemingly random, powerful booms in and around Flint’s Rollingwood neighborhood.
“I’ve been running around for the last year … trying to track down where it’s at,” said 3rd Ward Councilman Quincy Murphy, who represents the area where the neighborhood is located. “Whatever it is, it’s big, it’s underground and don’t nobody know what it is.”
