After five and a half hours he was on his way again, this time traveling by Marine One to his upscale lakeside home outside Wilmington, Delaware.
Seasoned Biden watchers were not surprised. Just as he did when he was a senator and vice president, the 79-year-old president is proving himself a creature of habit and escaping home to Delaware whenever he can.
