A Labour MP dramatically claimed he saw a Tory being “manhandled” and “bullied” as tempers flared during a crunch vote – with insiders saying there is no way back for Liz Truss.
Chris Bryant made the astonishing allegation about behaviour he said he witnessed in the members’ lobby as MPs cast their votes on a Labour motion aimed at banning fracking.
He called for a probe into the alleged violence, fuming in the chamber: “I saw members being physically manhandled.”
