One giant step backward! NASA leaves tens of thousands of fans – including VP Kamala Harris – disappointed after early morning Artemis 1 moon launch is scrubbed due to engine bleed

Tens of thousands of people who flocked to Cape Canaveral, Florida before the sun rose on Monday to see the historic Artemis I launch are heading home disappointed after the mission was scrubbed due the NASA team being unable to get past the engine bleed of Engine 3.

According to NASA, a liquid hydrogen fuel line did not properly chill one of the Space Launch System’s (SLS) four core-stage engines, which are part of the preparations needed before the engine can ignite.  However, the agency said there is no need to swap the engine.
