Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey in which they laid bare their rift with the Royal Family has been nominated for an Emmy Award.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who welcomed their second child Lilibet Dianaon 4 June, could take home a gong for their two-hour tell-all, which aired in March and sent shock waves through the Firm.

‘Oprah with Meghan & Harry: A CBS Primetime Special’ is nominated in the ‘Outstanding Hosted Nonfiction Series Or Special category’, it was confirmed today.
