Putin’s anti-aging guru dead at 77 as wrench thrown into dictator’s plan to live to 120

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s anti-aging guru died suddenly this week at the age of 77, throwing a massive wrench into the dictator’s quest to prolong both his life and his dictatorial rule over the country.

Vladimir Khavinson, the director of the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology, was found dead earlier this week. An official cause of death has not been revealed, but his passing could set back Putin’s quest by years and harm his efforts to “win” re-election to another six-year term that could see him rule until 2030 or beyond, when he’ll be nearing and entering his 80s.
