A team of scientists from the University of Arizona Lunar and Planetary Laboratory published a new paper on the evolution of the lunar interior.
In it, they shed new light on the instability of the ancient lunar interior. Their paper, published in the journal Nature Geoscience, details observations of the Moon’s chaotic early evolution.
“Our moon literally turned itself inside out,” Jeff Andrews-Hanna, study co-author and LPL associate professor, explained in a press statement.
