White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre pointedly asked reporters if she should bring the president’s dog to the briefing room after being pressed on a series of biting incidents involving the animal.

She fielded a series of questions about the president’s German Shepherd, Commander, who she confirmed was no longer on the White House grounds after reports of Secret Service agents who have been injured and officials who feared contact with the animal.
