A robotics company employee in his 40s was crushed to death by a robot in South Korea after it mistook him for a box of vegetables. The incident occurred while the man was inspecting the robot’s sensor operations at a pepper sorting plant.
The accident happened late at night when the employee was conducting checks on the robot, which was scheduled for a test run. Tragically, the robotic arm grabbed the man and pushed him against a conveyor belt, resulting in fatal injuries.
