The Biden administration proposed a list of new bank measures Thursday that it says can be done without the help of Congress and will reverse some of the regulatory rollbacks made during the Trump-era.
The White House said it would like to see midsized banks hold more liquid assets, increase their capital, submit to regular stress tests and write ‘living wills’ that detail how they can be wound down.
