A Los Angeles County Sherriff’s Department helicopter with five deputies and one ride along doctor on board crashed into the San Gabriel Mountains when they were responding to car crash on Saturday.
LA Fire Department officials said of the five deputies, one was critically injured, two suffered moderate injuries and the remaining two suffered minor injuries as all five were taken to a local trauma center. The doctor on board, identified as a physician from UCLA, also only suffered minor injuries.
